Regular Season Round 8: Sokol Lancut - Biofarm PZN 83-70

Very expected game when 9th ranked Biofarm PZN (3-3) was defeated on the road by third ranked Sokol Lancut (7-1) 83-70 on Saturday. Sokol Lancut forced 19 Biofarm PZN turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Maciej Klima (203-82) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Bartlomiej Karolak (199-92) who added 21 points during the contest. Swingman Jakub Fiszer (187-95) responded with 21 points and forward Filip Struski (200-94) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Five Sokol Lancut and four Biofarm PZN players scored in double figures. Biofarm PZN's coach Przemyslaw Szurek let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Sokol Lancut have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Loser Biofarm PZN dropped to the tenth position with three games lost. Sokol Lancut will face bottom-ranked SKK Siedlce (#17) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Biofarm PZN will play against Slask (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
