No shocking result in a game in Las Palmas where eleventh ranked Magec Tias (2-4) defeated bottom-ranked Promete (0-6) 83-69 on Saturday. The game without a history. Magec Tias led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Promete's 34. Magec Tias forced 19 Promete turnovers. The best player for the winners was Argentinian power forward Ornella Santana (183-90) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Center Yaiza Garcia (190-88) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Elena Salcedo (170-90) who recorded 17 points and forward Laura Arroyo (181-91) added 19 points respectively.
