There was no surprise in Gijon where 11th ranked Ascensores Tresa (1-5) was edged by fifth ranked Barca CBS (4-2) 57-56 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 15-7 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Barca CBS dominated on the defensive end, holding Ascensores Tresa to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Barca CBS forced 19 Ascensores Tresa turnovers. Strangely Ascensores Tresa outrebounded Barca CBS 45-29 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds.
