Liga Endesa top team - Real Madrid (7-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat sixth ranked CB Canarias (4-3) in Tenerife 84-74. CB Canarias was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. It was a great evening for the former international Felipe Reyes (204-80) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 7 rebounds. Argentinian point guard Facundo Campazzo (181-91) helped adding 10 points and 8 assists. Real Madrid's coach Pablo Laso allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American center Mike Tobey (213-94, college: Virginia) responded with 12 points and 6 rebounds and Polish swingman Mateusz Ponitka (196-93) scored 10 points. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Real Madrid have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 7-0 record. CB Canarias at the other side dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with Unicaja. Real Madrid will play against FC Barcelona (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. CB Canarias will play against Zaragoza (#12) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
