Regular Season Round 8: Nysa Klodzko - Notec Inowr. 90-84

Nysa Klodzko has finally registered their first victory this season after six consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Notec Inowr. (1-7) 90-84. Nysa Klodzko made 26-of-32 charity shots (81.3 percent) during the game. Notec Inowr. was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by swingman Dominik Rutkowski (194-98) who scored that evening 22 points and guard Rafal Wojciechowski (192-85) supported him with 16 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Even 18 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) by center Adam Lisewski (205-80) did not help to save the game for Notec Inowr.. Swingman Grzegorz Malecki (195-84, agency: Promotex) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nysa Klodzko (1-6) left bottom position moving up to fourteenth place, which they share with KK Warszawa. It was Notec Inowr.'s third loss in a row. They dropped to the sixteenth position with seven games lost. Nysa Klodzko will play against higher ranked Siarka (#9) in Tarnobrzeg in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Notec Inowr. will play at home against KK Warszawa (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
