The game between Top Four teams took place in San Sebastian. Second ranked host Gipuzkoa UPV (6-1) defeated 3rd placed Argon Uni Girona (5-2) 72-66. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Argon Uni Girona. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Argon Uni Girona was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Gipuzkoa UPV looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Argon Uni Girona's players. It was a great evening for Argentinian Lyndra Weaver who led her team to a victory scoring 20 points and 7 rebounds. Senegalese power forward Oumoul Sarr (185-84) helped adding 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Gipuzkoa UPV's coach Aranzazu Muguruza used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Brazilian center Nadia Colhado (193-89, agency: ProDep Management) responded with 16 points and 9 rebounds and Senegalese power forward Astou Traore (182-81, agency: ProDep Management) scored 13 points. Gipuzkoa UPV keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Avenida. Argon Uni Girona at the other side keeps the third place with two games lost. They share the position with Ferrol and Mann Filter. Gipuzkoa UPV is looking forward to face Universitario de Ferrol (#4) on the road in the next round. Argon Uni Girona will play against Campus Promete and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
