Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked Udine Delser and 9th ranked Albino had identical 2-3 record. But Albino was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Udine 44-40 on Saturday night. Guard Elisa Mancabelli (173-94) scored 9 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Croatian forward Ivana Blazevic (184-93) chipped in 10 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Udine Delser's coach Amalia Pomilio used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was point guard Chiara Lussana (171-96) with 13 points and 8 rebounds and the former international center Elisa Silva (192-88, agency: LBM Management) scored 6 points and 13 rebounds. Udine Delser (3-3) moved-up to sixth place in A2. Loser Albino dropped to the tenth position with four games lost. Udine Delser will face Fanola SML (#16) in San Martino di L in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Albino will play on the road against Scrivia (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
