Regular Season Round 8: Sleza Wroclaw - Enea AZS P. 68-57

Bottom-ranked Enea AZS P. is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their seventh consecutive match to third ranked Sleza Wroclaw (6-1) 68-57. The game was mostly controlled by Sleza Wroclaw. Enea AZS P. was better in fourth quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sleza Wroclaw made 18-of-21 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Sleza Wroclaw outrebounded Enea AZS P. 37-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. American guard Jazmine Davis (170-93, college: Washington, agency: LBM Management) responded with 12 points and 4 assists and Ukrainian forward Kateryna Rymarenko (187-90) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Defending champion maintains third position with 6-1 record having just three points less than leader Artego Bydg. Newly promoted Enea AZS P. still closes the standings with seven games lost. They share the position with Widzew. Sleza Wroclaw will play against AZS UMCS (#8) in Lublin in the next round where they are favorite. Enea AZS P. will play at home against MKK Siedlce (#11) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
