Regular Season Round 7: FoA - ViVe 60-97

The game in Forssa supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked ViVe (5-2) played at the court of 6th ranked Forssan Alku (3-4). ViVe smashed Forssan Alku 97-60 on Saturday. The game without a history. ViVe led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 23 Forssan Alku turnovers. The game was dominated by American players. It was a great evening for guard Sydney Coffey (183-93, college: Marist, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. Forward Avyanna Young (185-93, college: Wisconsin) helped adding 16 points and 10 rebounds. Coffey is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four ViVe players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Mia Loyd (180-94, college: N.Dakota) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 18 rebounds and guard Aaliyah Lewis (165-93, college: St.John's) scored 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. ViVe moved-up to third place, which they share with Catz. Loser Forssan Alku keeps the sixth position with four games lost. ViVe will meet at home league's second-placed Tapiolan Honka in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Forssan Alku will play against Catz Lappeenranta (#3) and hope to secure a win.
