Regular Season Round 8: RAC Basket - Saint Vallier 72-77

NM1 top team - Saint Vallier (8-0) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat fifth ranked Rueil (5-3) 77-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Rueil. Worth to mention a quality performance of American forward Michael Craion (195-89, college: ORU) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 8 rebounds and Christnel Jean-Francois who added 12 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Saint Vallier players scored in double figures. Saint Vallier's coach Jean-Sebastien Chardon used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Serbian swingman Dejan Sencanski (198-84, college: Abil.Christian) responded with 20 points and 8 rebounds and forward Karim Gourari (204-89) scored 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Saint Vallier have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-0 record. Rueil at the other side keeps the fifth place with three games lost. They share the position with Challans and La Charite. Saint Vallier are looking forward to face league's second-placed Gries/Oberhoffen in Bischwiller in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Rueil will play on the road against Orchesien BC in Orchies and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
