Regular Season Round 13: Shinshu BW - Cyberdyne IR 56-64

Very important is a home loss of first ranked Shinshu BW (8-5) against fourth ranked Cyberdyne IR (7-6) on Sunday night. Host Shinshu BW was defeated by Cyberdyne IR in a tough game in Nagano 56-64. Cyberdyne IR made 18-of-21 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Swingman Josei Maniwa (193-86) nailed 8 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and American power forward Rick Rickert (211-83, college: Minnesota) accounted for 9 points. American forward Tim Dezelski (198-90, college: Hillsdale, agency: Duran International) came up with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import Anthony McHenry (202-83, college: Georgia Tech) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Shinshu BW in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Cyberdyne IR have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Kanazawa Sam. Shinshu BW at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. Cyberdyne IR's next round opponent will be Bambitious Nara (#6) on the road. Shinshu BW will play against Toyotsu FE (#5) in Nagoya and hope to win that game.
