Everything could happen in Madrid at the game between two tied teams. Both twelfth ranked Olimpico 64 and 10th ranked Adareva had identical 1-4 record. This time Olimpico 64 used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Laguna 56-52 on Sunday night. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 56-52. Olimpico 64 dominated on the defensive end, holding Adareva to just 7 points in second quarter. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Irene Herradas (186-78) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds. Swingman Susana Bacete (179-93) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds. Olimpico 64's coach Javier Zamora used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game.
