Regular Season Round 7: San Severo - Cerignola Udas 92-56

No shocking result in a game when leader San Severo (7-0) outleveled at home 12th ranked Cerignola Udas (2-5) 92-56 on Sunday. San Severo forced 20 Cerignola Udas turnovers and had a 16-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for guard Leonardo Ciribeni (190-92) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Forward Emidio Di-Donato (198-92) helped adding 16 points and 7 rebounds. Four San Severo players scored in double figures. Coach Giorgio Salvemini's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side point guard Nunzio Sabbatino (188-92, agency: Players Group) responded with 14 points and 4 assists and forward Mattia Marchetti (193-89) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. San Severo maintains first place in B with 7-0 record, which they share with Cento. Newly promoted Cerignola Udas dropped to the thirteenth position with five games lost. San Severo will face league's second-placed Giulianova on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Cerignola Udas will play against Matera (#16) and hope to win that game.
