Regular Season Round 7: Orebro - Hammarby 73-89

Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Orebro (1-5) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Hammarby (4-2) 89-73 on Sunday. It was a great evening for guard Ramendra Haag (187-90) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Mustafa Allotey (184-97) helped adding 15 points and 7 rebounds. Five Hammarby players scored in double figures. At the losing side Adam Hammarback (-90) responded with 19 points and 6 rebounds and Robert Schultz (-89) scored 7 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Hammarby moved-up to third place, which they share with Eskilstuna. Orebro at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eighth position with five games lost. Hammarby will face Brahe Basket (#10) in Huskvarna in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Orebro will play on the road against Bankeryd and hope to win that game.
