Regular Season Round 7: Scauri - Valmontone 62-74

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Valmontone (5-2) won against on the road 8th ranked Scauri (3-4) 74-62 on Sunday. It was a great evening for the former international power forward Luca Bisconti (208-82, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Point guard Simone Rischia (185-90) helped adding 18 points. Valmontone's coach Donato Avenia used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side forward Davide Serino (199-81) responded with 19 points and 7 rebounds and Raffaele Marzullo (191-98) scored 14 points and 4 steals. Valmontone moved-up to third place in B, which they share with Crema and Lecco. Loser Scauri dropped to the ninth position with four games lost. Valmontone will face Capo d'Orlando (#7) at home in the next round. Scauri will play against Patti and hope to win that game.
