Regular Season Round 4: Bashkimi - Levski Lukoil 70-63

We should not miss the game where seventh ranked Kosovan Bashkimi (1-2) against one of their biggest challengers Bulgarian Levski 2014 (2-3) where Bashkimi won at home by seven points 70-63. Bashkimi forced 19 Levski 2014 turnovers. The winners were led by American guard Daishon Knight (185-91, college: Illinois St.) who scored that evening 14 points and 6 rebounds and Turkish-Kosovan forward Samir Zekiqi (202-95) supported him with 16 points. Five Bashkimi players scored in double figures. Even 22 points and 7 rebounds by guard Stanimir Marinov (192-91, agency: Interperformances) did not help to save the game for Levski 2014. Forward Aleks Simeonov (200-93) added 16 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Levski 2014's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Bashkimi left bottom position moving up to sixth place. Levski 2014 at the other side dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Bashkimi's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Ibar Rozaje (#8) at home. Levski 2014 will play against SK Tirana and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
