Regular Season Round 7: L'Hospitalet - Moron 88-82

There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked L'Hospitalet (4-3) defeated at home higher ranked Moron (4-3) 88-82 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 28-19 charge, which allowed them to win the game. L'Hospitalet dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Moron's 34. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for guard Edgar San-Epifanio (196-87) who led his team to a victory scoring 12 points and 5 rebounds. Georgian center Shota Gelazonia (205-94) helped adding 14 points (perfect from the field making all six shots). At the losing side point guard Jose-Antonio Marco (179-89) responded with 16 points and 7 assists and Guinean forward Cheick-Sekou Conde (203-92) scored 18 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. L'Hospitalet moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Moron. L'Hospitalet will face Plasencia (#10) on the road in the next round.
