Regular Season Round 9: Biofarm PZN - Slask Wroclaw 77-82

There was a minor upset in Poznan where 10th ranked Biofarm PZN (3-4) was defeated by twelfth ranked Slask (4-5) 82-77 on Wednesday. The best player for the winners was Maciej Krakowczyk (200-96) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists. Power forward Aleksander Dziewa (205-97, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 22 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Jakub Fiszer (187-95) who recorded 25 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Piotr Wieloch (182-94) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists respectively. Biofarm PZN's coach Przemyslaw Szurek let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Slask moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Kotwica. Biofarm PZN lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the twelfth position with four games lost. Slask will face bottom-ranked SKK Siedlce (#17) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Biofarm PZN will play against Enea Astoria (#8) in Bydgoszcz and hope to win that game.
