Regular Season Round 3: Flying Foxes - Alba Iulia 81-68

Very important is a road loss of Romanian Alba Iulia (1-2) against Austrian Flying Foxes (1-2) on Thursday night. Visiting Alba Iulia was defeated by Flying Foxes in Vienna 81-68. Alba Iulia was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American guard Samantha Logic (175-92, college: Iowa, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Hungarian forward Lilla Horvath (183-90) helped adding 21 points and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American guard Ashley Morrissette (175-95, college: Purdue) with 16 points, 7 assists and 4 steals and the other American import guard Jessica January (170-95, college: De Paul) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Four Flying Foxes and five Alba Iulia players scored in double figures. Flying Foxes will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Alba Iulia will play at home against Zabiny Brno (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
