Regular Season Round 9: Tsmoki-Minsk - GOCOR-Sozh 94-30

An interesting game for Tsmoki-Minsk (9-0) which hosted in Minsk 4th placed GOCOR-Sozh (5-4). Leader Tsmoki-Minsk had an easy win 94-30. The game without a history. Tsmoki-Minsk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding GOCOR-Sozh to just 4 points in second quarter and to 12 points in second half. Tsmoki-Minsk dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to GOCOR-Sozh's 22. Tsmoki-Minsk forced 35 GOCOR-Sozh turnovers and outrebounded them 46-26 including a 16-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Tsmoki-Minsk looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 2 passes made by GOCOR-Sozh's players. It was a good game for the former international forward Aliaksandr Semianiuk (208-93) who led his team to a victory with 15 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 steals. Forward Maksim Sazonau (202-96) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Four Tsmoki-Minsk players scored in double figures. Tsmoki-Minsk's coach Aleksander Krutikov felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Daniil Adaskov (193-96) answered with 14 points and forward Alexei Kovalev (-0) added 1 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for GOCOR-Sozh. Tsmoki-Minsk have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with COR-Borisfen and Grodno-93. GOCOR-Sozh at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost. Tsmoki-Minsk is again looking forward to face GOCOR-Sozh (#4) in Gomel in the next round. GOCOR-Sozh will have a break next round.
