Regular Season Round 5: Lille - Blois 69-57

ProB top team - Lille Metropole (5-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat fifth ranked ADA Blois (3-2) 69-57. The game was mostly controlled by Lille Metropole. ADA Blois was better in fourth quarter 16-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Lille Metropole players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American forward Rakeem Buckles (203-90, college: FIU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and Spanish guard Marcos Suka-Umu (192-85) chipped in 12 points and 9 assists. American-Bahamas forward Jonathan Fairell (201-93, college: Murray St., agency: Duran International) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and American point guard Jerrold Brooks (183-91, college: S.Mississippi, agency: Interperformances) scored 10 points and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lille Metropole have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 5-0 record, which they share with Roanne. ADA Blois at the other side dropped to the sixth position with two games lost. They share it with Fos-Provence and Saint-Chamond. Lille Metropole will play against JA Vichy (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. ADA Blois will play against Nantes and hopes to get back on the winning track.
