The most surprising game was the first loss of Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (5-1) in Hangzhou on Friday night. Hosts were edged by tenth ranked Long-Lions (4-2) 118-116. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Zhejiang Guangsha Lions. Long-Lions made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game. 27 personal fouls committed by Zhejiang Guangsha Lions helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American point guard Kyle Fogg (190-90, college: Arizona) scored 58 points (!!!) and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Palestinian center Sani Sakakini (204-88) chipped in 20 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Long-Lions' coach used entire bench in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American point guard Courtney Fortson (180-88, college: Arkansas, agency: 3Eye) with a double-double by scoring 48 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 14 assists and international center Jinqiu Hu (208-97) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Long-Lions moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 6 other teams. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions at the other side keep the second position with one game lost. They share it with Shandong GS. Long-Lions is looking forward to face Jiangsu Dragons (#10) in Nanjing in the next round where they are favorite. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions will play at home against the league's leader Guandong Tigers (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
