Regular Season Round 6: United - Kings 108-90

Date: November 11, 2017
Very expected game in Melbourne where 8th ranked Kings (2-7) were defeated by third ranked United (5-4) 108-90. United players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a good game for American power forward Josh Boone (208-84, college: Connecticut) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds. The other American import swingman Casey Prather (198-91, college: Florida) contributed with 22 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The former international swingman Brad Newley (199-85, agency: BeoBasket) replied with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international guard Jason Cadee (186-91) added 17 points and 4 assists in the effort for Kings. Five United and four Kings players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. United maintains third position with 5-4 record having just three points less than leader Breakers. Kings lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with seven games lost. United's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Perth Wildcats at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kings will play against Adelaide 36ers (#5) in Findon and hope to win that game.
