Regular Season Round 5: Holargos - Amyntas Dafnis 78-65

Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Amyntas Dafnis (2-3) was defeated on the road by second ranked Holargos (4-1) 78-65 on Saturday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. The best player for the winners was Angelos Tsamis (192-81) who scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Forward Nikolaos Papanikolaou (209-85) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four Holargos players scored in double figures. Point guard Leonidas Zoupas (182-82) produced 10 points and 7 assists and forward Spyros Diamantopoulos (197-83) added 16 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Holargos maintains second place with 4-1 record behind leader Peristeri GS, which they share with Iraklis.
