Regular Season Round 7: GDKO Bizkaia - RC Celta 65-70

An interesting game for Real Celta Vigo (7-0) which played road game in Galdakao against 3rd placed GDKO Bizkaia (5-2). Leader Real Celta Vigo managed to get a 5-point victory 70-65. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of GDKO Bizkaia. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 22-13. But GDKO Bizkaia won third quarter 11-9. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Real Celta Vigo forced 19 GDKO Bizkaia turnovers. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Real Celta Vigo. They maintain first place in Group A with 7-0 record. GDKO Bizkaia at the other side dropped to the second position with two games lost. Real Celta Vigo's next round opponent will be ADBA (#10) in Aviles and are hoping to win another game. GDKO Bizkaia will play on the road against Maquinaria Ensino (#9) in Lugo and hope to win that game.
