Regular Season Round 11: Yamanashi QB - Fujitsu RW 57-75

Bottom-ranked Yamanashi QB (0-11) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 11th consecutive match to seventh ranked Fujitsu RW (6-5) 75-57. The game was mostly controlled by Fujitsu RW. Yamanashi QB was better in second period 14-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Yamanashi QB 42-30 including a 29-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Fujitsu RW players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. International point guard Rui Machida (161-93) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points and 8 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Forward Midori Murayama (178-93) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Forward Misa Yokoi (170-88) answered with 13 points and 8 rebounds and center Rr En (184-94) added 14 points in the effort for Yamanashi QB. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fujitsu RW maintains seventh place with 6-5 record. Yamanashi QB lost their eleventh game in a row. They still close the standings with 11 games lost. Fujitsu RW will have a break next round. Yamanashi QB will play again at home against Fujitsu RW (#7) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
