Very predictable result in Tokyo where third ranked Toyota A. (9-2) smashed 10th ranked Haneda Vickies (2-9) 91-63. The game was mostly controlled by Toyota A.. Haneda Vickies was better in second period 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Haneda Vickies to just 5 points in first quarter. Toyota A. made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The former international power forward Evelyn Mawuli (180-95) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Minaho Minamiminoru (167-93) contributed with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Toyota A. players scored in double figures. Guard Nanoko Motohashi (164-93) answered with 13 points and 5 assists and guard Kamieno Mitada (165-93) added 13 points in the effort for Haneda Vickies. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Toyota A.. They moved-up to second place. Haneda Vickies lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the tenth position with nine games lost. Toyota A.'s supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Nagoya to the arena .
