Regular Season Round 13: Toshiba BT - Tochigi Brex 85-86

A very interesting game took place in Kanagawa. It ended with only one-point home defeat of 3rd placed Toshiba Thunders (10-5) to sixth ranked Tochigi Brex (5-10) 86-85 on Saturday evening. American guard Cedric Bozeman (198-83, college: UCLA) nailed 13 points and 6 assists for the winning side and his fellow American import power forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) accounted for 10 points and 9 rebounds. American power forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) came up with 24 points and 6 rebounds and international point guard Yuma Fujii (178-91) added 16 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Toshiba Thunders in the defeat. Five Tochigi Brex and four Toshiba Thunders players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Defending champion maintains sixth place with 5-10 record. Toshiba Thunders at the other side still keep top position with five games lost. Tochigi Brex's next round opponent will be higher ranked Nishinomiya S. (#4) in Hyogo and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Toshiba Thunders will play on the road against Toyama Grouses and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
