No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Sluc Nancy (4-1) beat at home 9th ranked JA Vichy (2-3) 92-80 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 46-31 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. American-Dominican guard Gerardo Suero (196-89, college: Albany) answered with 18 points and American point guard Kwamain Mitchell (178-89, college: St.Louis) added 19 points and 4 assists in the effort for JA Vichy. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Sluc Nancy. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Caen. Loser JA Vichy keeps the ninth position with three games lost. Sluc Nancy will face SPO Rouen (#14) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. JA Vichy will play against the league's leader Lille Metropole (#1) and hope to win that game.
