Regular Season Round 7: Dolomiti En. TR - EA7 Armani 55-74
Date: November 11, 2017
Not a big story in a game in Trento where 12th ranked Dolomiti En. TR (2-5) was outplayed by third ranked Armani Milano (6-1) 74-55 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 74-55. Armani Milano dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Dolomiti En. TR's 28. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Andrew Goudelock (190-88, college: Charleston) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 5 rebounds and American-FYR Macedonian point guard Jordan Theodore (182-89, college: Seton Hall) who added 18 points during the contest. Armani Milano's coach Simone Pianigiani used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Chane Behanan (198-92, college: Louisville) responded with 17 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized Argentinian point guard Andres Forray (187-86) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Armani Milano moved-up to second place, which they share with Umana VE and Fiat TO. Dolomiti En. TR at the other side keeps the twelfth position with five games lost. They share it with VL Pesaro and The Flexx PT. Armani Milano will meet Grissin Bon RE (#15) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Dolomiti En. TR will play against Betaland Cdo in Capo d'Orlando and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
