The most interesting game of round 9 in the Total League was a home defeat of 4th placed T71 Dudelange (6-3) by second ranked Musel Pikes (7-2) who outscored them by 21 points 67-46. It ended the three-game winning streak of T71 Dudelange. They outrebounded T71 Dudelange 42-31 including a 38-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. American power forward Bridget Yoerger (180-87, college: S.Dakota) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 23 rebounds for the winners and her fellow American import Natalie Bastian (173) chipped in 30 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). The best for the losing side was American swingman Sarah Olson (173-93, college: Monmouth) with 18 points and 4 steals and international center Michele Orban (190-86) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Musel Pikes have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 7-2 record behind leader Amicale, which they share with Contern. T71 Dudelange at the other side keeps the fourth position with three games lost. Musel Pikes is looking forward to face league's leader Amicale in Steinsel in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. T71 Dudelange will play on the road against Grengewald in Niederanven and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
