Regular Season Round 9: Bourg - Levallois 82-85

Important game to mention about took place in Bourg. Fifteenth ranked Paris-Levallois (3-6) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 4th placed JL Bourg (5-4) 85-82 on Saturday evening. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But JL Bourg won third quarter 20-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Paris-Levallois won last quarter 16-14. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was international Boris Diaw (203-82) who scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Slovenian guard Klemen Prepelic (191-92) chipped in 23 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Zachery Peacock (203-87, college: Georgia Tech) who recorded 21 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and the other American import point guard Garrett Sim (188-90, college: Oregon) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Paris-Levallois maintains fifteenth place with 3-6 record, which they share with Cholet. Newly promoted JL Bourg dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. Paris-Levallois will face Cholet Basket (#15) at home in the next round. JL Bourg will play against Gravelines-Dunkerque (#12) and hope to win that game.
