Regular Season Round 15: Bambitious Nara - Cyberdyne IR 65-70

Very expected game when 6th ranked Bambitious Nara (2-13) was defeated at home by second ranked Cyberdyne IR (9-6) 70-65 on Sunday. Cyberdyne IR made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. Strangely Bambitious Nara outrebounded Cyberdyne IR 43-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for swingman Josei Maniwa (193-86) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American power forward Rick Rickert (211-83, college: Minnesota) helped adding 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Cyberdyne IR's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was South African center Tshilidzi Nephawe (208-89, college: N.Mexico St.) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 21 rebounds and point guard Higuchi Mato (177-92) scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. They have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Cyberdyne IR keeps a position of league leader. Bambitious Nara at the other side keeps the sixth place with 13 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
