Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both twelfth ranked Civitanova and higher ranked Ortona had identical 3-4 record. But Ortona was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Civitanova 89-75 on Sunday night. Civitanova outrebounded Ortona 38-23 including a 34-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was forward Riccardo Coviello (195-88) who scored 19 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Alessandro Cassese (186-97) chipped in 23 points.
