Regular Season Round 7: Haga BG - Brahe Basket 98-53

Bottom-ranked Brahe Basket (0-6) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their sixth consecutive match to sixth ranked Haga BG (3-3) 98-53 on Sunday evening. Haga BG dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Brahe Basket's 34. They outrebounded Brahe Basket 48-23 including a 36-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for forward Lucas Lindh (200-98) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Point guard Hugo Bergstrom (182-1) helped adding 14 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four Haga BG players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Carl Sundkvist (175-97) responded with 12 points and 6 rebounds and Alexander Johansson (-94) scored 12 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted Haga BG maintains sixth place with 3-3 record, which they share with 3 other teams. Brahe Basket lost their sixth game in a row. Brahe Basket at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with six games lost. Haga BG will have a break next round. Brahe Basket will play at home against Hammarby (#4) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
