The game in Neufchateau supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Waregem (8-2) played at the court of 8th ranked Neufchateau (4-6). Waregem smashed Neufchateau 86-51. It was a great evening for center Bart-Willy Samaey (199-87) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Stan Naudts (195-86) helped adding 15 points and 4 assists. Point guard Alexis Pierre (178-92) responded with 11 points and 5 rebounds and center Arnaud Piette (206-86) scored 7 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Waregem have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Gembo BBC and Oxaco. Newly promoted Neufchateau dropped to the tenth place with six games lost. Waregem will play against bottom-ranked Houthalen (#14) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Neufchateau will play against the league's second-placed Oxaco (#2) in Boechout and hopes to get back on the winning track.
