Regular Season Round 10: Panteras - Capitanes 109-101

The most important game in the last round took place in Aguascalientes between second ranked Capitanes (6-4) and tenth ranked Panteras (3-5) on Monday night. Capitanes were defeated by Panteras in a tough game on the road 101-109. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Capitanes. Panteras made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American-Puerto Rican guard Isaac Sosa-Carrion (190-90, college: Canisius) scored 25 points to lead the charge for the winners and American power forward Michael Glover (203-87, college: Iona) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side the former international Hector Hernandez (205-85, college: Fresno St., agency: BeoBasket) responded with 36 points (!!!) and American-Dominican forward Emmanuel Andujar (198-93, college: Manhattan) scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Panteras and five Capitanes players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Panteras moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Abejas. Newly promoted Capitanes dropped to the third position with four games lost. Panteras is looking forward to face league's leader Soles in Mexicali in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Capitanes will play at home against Santos and are hoping to win this game.
