Everything went according to plan in Yingkou where third ranked Flying Leopards (6-2) won against 17th ranked Eagles (1-7) 110-92 on Tuesday. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Ailun Guo (192-93) who helped to win the game recording 30 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin) who added 30 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four Flying Leopards players scored in double figures. American point guard Jonathan Gibson (188-87, college: N.Mexico St.) responded with 33 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Terrence Jones (206-92, college: Kentucky) scored 8 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Flying Leopards keep a position of league leader, which they share with 4 other teams. Eagles lost seventh consecutive game. They dropped to the nineteenth place with seven games lost. Flying Leopards will meet Gold Lions (#17) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Eagles will play against Leopards and hope to win that game.
