There was a small surprise when sixteenth ranked GTK (2-6) beat on the road 16th ranked AZS Koszalin (2-7) 97-90. AZS Koszalin was ahead by 6 points after three quarters before a 33-20 charge of GTK, which allowed them to win the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The winners were led by American point guard Quinton Hooker (183, college: N.Dakota) who scored that evening 23 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import center Maverick Morgan (208-94, college: Illinois) supported him with 20 points and 6 rebounds. GTK's coach Pawel Turkiewicz allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 12 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists by American forward Qyntel Woods (202-81, college: NE Mississippi CC) did not help to save the game for AZS Koszalin.
