But Al Shamal was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Al Wakrah 87-74 on Wednesday night. Al Wakrah's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Elhag-Ali Saleh (191) responded with 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Abdul Kosar (192) scored 22 points and 7 rebounds. Al Wakrah will meet at home Al Rayyan (#4) in the next round.
