Regular Season Round 8: Guangdong ST - Jiangsu D. 93-95

Important game to mention about took place in Dongguan. Fourth ranked Jiangsu Dragons (6-2) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging second-ranked Guandong Tigers (6-2) 95-93 in the game for the first place. It was a key game for the top position in the league. American swingman MarShon Brooks (196-89, college: Providence) orchestrated the victory by scoring 39 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds. Serbian center Miroslav Raduljica (213-88) contributed with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. The former international Jianlian Yi (212-87) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 19 rebounds and French Edwin Jackson (190-89, agency: BeoBasket) added 30 points and 4 assists in the effort for Guandong Tigers. Jiangsu Dragons keep a position of league leader, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Guandong Tigers. Jiangsu Dragons will play against Blue Whales (#16) in Sichuan in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Guandong Tigers will play at home against Monkey Kings (#13) and hope to get back on the winning track.
