The game in Espoo was also quite interesting. 5th ranked BC Nokia (6-5) played at the court of seventh ranked Espoo United (5-7). Espoo United defeated BC Nokia 109-99 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Espoo United. BC Nokia managed to win third quarter 36-33. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. At the other side the best for losing team was Leyton Hammonds (203-94, college: Oklahoma St., agency: Inception Sports) who recorded 21 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Vincent Council (186-90, college: Providence) added 19 points and 7 assists respectively. Four Espoo United and five BC Nokia players scored in double figures. Espoo United have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Espoo United maintains seventh position with 5-7 record. Loser BC Nokia keeps the fifth place with five games lost. They share the position with Pyrinto. Espoo United will meet Lapuan Korikobrat (#10) on the road in the next round. BC Nokia will play against Tampereen Pyrinto (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
