Regular Season Round 6: Fos-Provence - Evreux 70-66

Not a big story in a game in Fos-sur-Mer where 15th ranked ALM Evreux (1-5) was defeated by eighth ranked Provence Basket (4-2) 70-66 on Friday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Provence Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by ALM Evreux's players. Bahamas forward Jaraun Burrows (203-85, college: IPFW) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Edouard Choquet (188-88) chipped in 12 points and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was DR Congolese-Belgian power forward Ruphin Kayembe (200-92) with 11 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Caleb Walker (194-89, college: Nebraska) scored 17 points. Provence Basket moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Nancy and Blois. Loser ALM Evreux dropped to the sixteenth position with five games lost. Provence Basket will face league's second-placed Lille Metropole on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. ALM Evreux will play against Sluc Nancy (#6) and hope to win that game.
