Regular Season Round 10: Saint Vallier - Orchies 98-83
Date: November 18, 2017
NM1 top team - Saint Vallier (10-0) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat fifteenth ranked Orchesien BC (3-7) 98-83. Saint Vallier shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 63.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American swingman Drake Reed (194-87, college: Austin Peay St., agency: Inception Sports) notched 26 points and 5 assists to lead the effort and swingman Parfait NJiba (199-89, agency: Octagon Europe) supported him with 14 points and 5 assists. Saint Vallier's coach Jean-Sebastien Chardon used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds by American forward TJ Robinson (203-89, college: Long Beach St.) did not help to save the game for Orchesien BC. His fellow American import guard Doug Herring-Jr (191-87, college: Utica) added 19 points and 4 assists for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Saint Vallier have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 10-0 record. Loser Orchesien BC keeps the fifteenth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Brissac-Aubance and SAP Vaucluse. Saint Vallier will meet bottom-ranked CFBB (#18) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Orchesien BC will play against the league's second-placed Gries/Oberhoffen and hope to secure a win.
