Very important is a road loss of third ranked Polfarmex (8-2) against twelfth ranked Biofarm PZN (4-5) on Saturday night. Visiting Polfarmex was defeated by Biofarm PZN in a tough game in Poznan 64-72. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Polfarmex. The best player for the winners was forward Filip Struski (200-94) who scored 22 points and 9 rebounds. Swingman Jakub Fiszer (187-95) chipped in 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Damian Janiak (195-89, agency: Promotex) produced 12 points and 7 assists and Arkadiusz Kobus (196-86, agency: Promotex) added 15 points respectively for the guests. Polfarmex's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Biofarm PZN moved-up to eleventh place. Loser Polfarmex dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. Biofarm PZN will meet Nysa Klodzko (#14) in the next round. Polfarmex will play against SKK Siedlce (#17) and hope to secure a win and be promoted back to the PLK just one year after relegation.
