Leader Real Madrid delivered the eighth victory. This time they crushed bottom-ranked Real Betis (0-9) 98-63 in Sevilla. The game without a history. Real Madrid led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Real Madrid outrebounded Real Betis 39-27 including a 34-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Real Madrid maintains first place with 8-1 record. Real Betis at the other side still closes the standings with nine games lost. Real Madrid will play against Gran Canaria (#6) in Las Palmas in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Real Betis will play on the road against CB Canarias (#12) in Tenerife and hopes to get finally their first victory.
