Regular Season Round 13: Inter Bratislava - Rieker KN 92-84

SBL top team - Inter Bratislava (11-1) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat fifth ranked Rieker KN (6-7) 92-84. Inter Bratislava made 26-of-29 free shots (89.7 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. 28 personal fouls committed by Rieker KN helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international power forward Radoslav Rancik (205-79, college: St.Cloud St., agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording 31 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Serbian Nemanja Barac (194-90, agency: 011 Sports) contributed with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. Inter Bratislava's coach Oliver Vidin used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Croatian power forward Mise Diminic (208-89, agency: XL Basketball Agency) answered with 24 points and 5 rebounds and Slovenian guard Boban Tomic (190-88) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists (made all of his eight free throws) in the effort for Rieker KN. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Inter Bratislava have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 11-1 record. Rieker KN at the other side dropped to the sixth position with seven games lost. Inter Bratislava are looking forward to face Handlova (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Rieker KN will play against Iskra Svit and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
