Regular Season Round 10: Eanna - Killester 75-73

A very close game took place in Dublin between Eanna and Killester. Eighth ranked Eanna (4-4) got a very close home victory over higher ranked Killester (6-4). Eanna managed to escape with a 2-point win 75-73 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Killester. Forward Aidan Dunne (198-97) notched 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and Garny Garcia-Nivar supported him with 18 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Even 21 points and 4 steals by American guard Royce Williams (196, college: Ft.Hays State) did not help to save the game for Killester. International point guard Ciaran Roe (170-93) added 15 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Eanna maintains eighth position with 4-4 record. Loser Killester keeps the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with Tralee. Eanna will meet Maree (#11) in the next round. Killester's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Dublin DCU Saints.
