Regular Season Round 8: Amsterdam - Den Bosch 67-79

Date: November 18, 2017
The game in Amsterdam was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Den Bosch (5-2) played at the court of 5th ranked Amsterdam (3-4). Den Bosch defeated Amsterdam 79-67 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Den Bosch. Amsterdam managed to win second period 15-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Den Bosch forced 20 Amsterdam turnovers. The winners were led by American forward Mike Miklusak (198-94, college: W.Illinois) who scored that evening 23 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import point guard Keshun Sherrill (175-94, college: Augusta, agency: Interperformances) supported him with 19 points and 7 assists. Even 19 points and 7 rebounds by Max Van-Schaik (210-91, agency: Court Side) did not help to save the game for Amsterdam. The former international swingman Dimeo Van-Der-Horst (197-91) added 13 points and 8 assists for the hosts. Four Amsterdam players scored in double figures. Den Bosch moved-up to second place, which they share with Groningen and Zwolle. Amsterdam lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with four games lost. Den Bosch will meet league's second-placed Groningen on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Amsterdam will play against the league's leader Leiden and hope to secure a win.
