Regular Season Round 11: Siarka - Spojnia 80-86

1Liga top team - Spojnia (10-0) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat sixth ranked Siarka (6-5) in Tarnobrzeg 86-80. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Siarka. Siarka was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for forward Hubert Pabian (201-89, agency: Promotex) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). Point guard Dawid Brek (187-89, agency: Promotex) helped adding 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Spojnia players scored in double figures. Jakub Zalewski (184-86) responded with 20 points and 4 assists and forward Filip Czyznielewski (198-91) scored 14 points. The victory was the tenth consecutive win for Spojnia. They maintain first place with 10-0 record. Loser Siarka keeps the sixth position with five games lost. Spojnia will face Pogon Prudnik (#13) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Siarka will play against Notec Inowr. (#15) in Inowroclaw and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the PLK just one year after relegation.
